This project, in collaboration with design architect Iker Gil of MAS Studio, is the renovation of two residential units within the iconic Marina City building designed by Bertrand Goldberg. The project connects two units into a singular space, for an art gallerist. The design concept is marked by a deliberate integration of salvaged and historic fixtures, alongside materials sourced from the original units, breathing new life into the space while preserving its historical character. A distinctive feature of the revamped layout is the central bathroom, str ategically designed with a flexible partition that seamlessly adapts to the living space, adding versatility to the overall design.
