Piccadilly Theater HQ

Location: Hyde Park, Chicago
Client: Withheld
Scope: Architecture (Interiors)
Progress/Year: 2020

This project establishes a flagship location for a transformative approach to the tattooing business and experience. The project is an adaptive reuse intervention in the lobby of a former theater which has been abandoned for decades. The design concept of project both reinvents the private one-on-one relationship between a tattoo artist and their client as well as the public energy of a thriving business. The architectural approach creates a cultural hub for the South side, featuring space for events and engagement. It honors and features components of the original space in juxtaposition with contemporary materials, reflecting the businesses innovative approach to an ancient art.
