Devon Spa
A multi-sensory design for an expansive spa experience, allowing visitors to participate in wellness experiences from yoga to aufguss.
The Devon Spa is a unique spa experience focused on saunas. The building is three stories with a large outdoor garden space. The building is organized in sections by heat level, the hottest spaces in the basement and the cool open air of a large roof deck. A reserved entry off an adjacent side street leads visitors though a small retail and check-in space. From the corridor one is greeted by views to the garden before turning into the locker rooms. The first floor hosts space for yoga, events, and a small cafe space. Once out in the garden, a series of walls create intimate spaces around the pool and private gardens with individual saunas. A large event sauna opens up onto the pool. A series of gardens and sundecks dot the rooftop.
