Events and Engagement
Great architecture is like the moment when, at a party, someone puts on the right song and everyone starts to dance. At its best, design emerges from the world around it: the deep knowledge of project stakeholders, the expansive expertise of communities, and the spontaneous participation of the public through civic life. Future Firm has developed an approach to active listening through programming and events. We use design tools and technology, from scale models to AR/VR, to engage feedback. We also work to build conversations with partners, outside voices, and different forms of media, from hosting talks to presenting short films as a way to broaden the ways we engage topics and ideas.
